Well its January 2nd of 2012. By now everyone's hangover should be gone (I hope) and your thinking about what your goals and plans for the new year. I've been in my pajamas since Saturday and it's GLORIOUS to say the least. LOL
I have a few new years resolutions nothing to crazy or impossible that I'll end up dropping by the end of january. But a challenge for me none the less. My two resolutions for the year is to drink more water and pay off my credit card debt.... I'm hoping I can get the later of the two done for sure.
Some of the dream plans for the new year are to get my engagement ring. Me and Greg have been together six and a half years and we already call each other fiance/hubby/wifey. I'm bound to get it eventually lol.
Next one one the dream list would be a house. Living in an apartment together is great and all but with each month of rent its like we are throwing away our money when if we had a house the mortgage is going to a great investment.
Third and final dream list would be to get my corgi. This part kind of ties in to the whole house factory. As Gregory already told me I can have one once we get a house. A) Our apartment isn't a pet building and B) Trying to potty train a puppy in a third floor apartment isn't exactly the easiest of things to do.
For New Year's Eve we didn't do anything crazy, exciting or insane. We shopped in the morning. Gregory got himself some new computer toys with his christmas money then we spent the night at home playing Minecraft with a friend of ours. And to be honest it was a lot of fun! I woke up the next morning not hung over and my bank account wasn't crying. I'd definitely call that a successful night!
New Year's Day we relaxed and tried making saganaki at home. It was a total success and tasted delicious! The cheese was a bit pricey at $10.99 a pound but we figured we saved so much staying in the night before we could afford to splurge!
In other exciting news one of my favorite shows comes back on Thursday and I'm so freaking excited! The Vampire Diaries is finally back on! YAY!!!
So how about you guys? How did you ring in the new year? Any new years resolutions your trying for this year? I'd love to hear.
