Mani Monday :: Mimosa's Before Mani's [Avant Garden Collection]

Happy Monday all! Today's Mani Monday features the first swatches of my China Glaze Avant Garden collection that Gregory purchased me for Valentine's Day! While I'd love to say this is my favorite color I got, I can't. I have to admit I was very impressed with this collection and LOVE all the colors I have!

I chose to reveal Mimosa's Before Mani's first cause I seem to have a warm fuzzy feeling for oranges / corals at the moment. Perhaps its cause it reminds me of spring and I'm so desperate for Spring to get here. I'm not one for the cold and winter.

Don't get me wrong freshly fallen snow on trees is pretty and a cup of hot coco but I'd much rather be sipping on a Passion Tea Lemonade Sweetened from Starbucks in my flip flops!

One thing I adore about the Avant Garden collection is that some of the colors had a subtle shimmer to them. Mimosa's Before Mani's is one of the select few that has the subtle shimmer. 

It's a nice and smooth creamy consistency that gave me a nice opaque finish with two coats. I love the color with my skin tone as well. Gosh, it really does make me want summer to come! More swatches from the Avant Garden collection to come so stay tuned for that!
