July Ipsy Bag :: Beach Beauty

Hello darlings! So I'm not gonna lie... I totally got my days mixed up and thought yesterday was Tuesday versus it being Wednesday so there was no post... OOPSY DAISY!

So I decided to share a post today to make up for it! Sound good?! Okay then lets get right into it!

This month's theme was Beach Beauty and I have some likes and I have so dislikes with this month's bag. Included in July's bag was Nailtini's - Mai Tai, bh cosmetics' - California Collection, Coola - mineral sunscreen rose essence, POP pouty pop crayon - fuchsia flirt and Sexy Hair's soy renewal beach spray.

Starting with the cosmetic bag we received this month I have to say its one of my tops that I've received! Come September I will be jet setting off to Florida on a cruise for my honeymoon so this bag is perfect to throw in my bag to bring chap stick, key card and other little things into my bag while wondering the ship!

The Mai Tai Nailtini nail polish while it is a cute color I have to admit I'm kind of sick of getting Nailtini nail polish in my bag but what can you do? I'm sure it will eventually end up on my nails or toes for that matter... I bet this color would look fab on your toys for a fun night out!

For the bh costmetics' California Collection eye shadow palette you got a sample color from each collection of colors Hollywood, San Francisco and Malibu while I LOVE Hollywood & Malibu for their vibrant colors I know I'll end up using San Francisco's more natural and nude shade. All were very pigments and true to appearance as I've found with all bh cosmetics eye shadows.

Coola's mineral sunscreen rose essence offered a spf of 20 and a nice shimmer but this is definetley not something I would use for two reasons: 1. my skin HATES anything mineral and breaks out almost instantly and 2. when swatched it looked similar to Urban Decay's Naked from the Naked one palette. Not that that is a bag thing but I wouldn't use something like that as a tinted moisturizer for my full face that would be more of a check highlight.. But I guess it depends on the person?

Next up was POP's Pouty Pop Crayon in Fuchsia Flirt which I have to admit is probably my favorite item from this month's bag! I've been gravitating to a lot more pinks this month when it comes to lips and this baby was right where I was looking! I loved that once I put it on it stayed moist and didn't dry out my lips almost like a pigmented lip balm! Very pleased with this item!

Finally Sexy Hair's Soy Renewal Beach Spray, I didn't get to use this product yet but it does smell yummy and I love that its the perfect travel size to throw in my bag when I'm going to spend the day on the boat in the sun! Who doesn't like to condition their hair?! I'll be able to provide a better review on this a little later once I actually try it out!
