Hello darlings! Today's post is going to be covering August's Ipsy bag! This month's theme was Glamour Academy and is the perfect combo of products for the Back to School season! Unfortunately for me I'm out out of school so I don't get the excitement of back to school shopping Le Sigh...I do miss those days...sorta! But I do get to enjoy this month's bag!
This month's bag was a rich purple with gold ipsy crest on it. I love that as Ipsy grows their bags keep getting fancier and high quality! I can totally see me throwing the bag in my purse so my everyday essentials!
First thing I found was MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder - Bronze a very shimmer loose pigment that can be used as eye shadow or even a high light if applied light enough. While I like the color I don't know if I'll end up using this but it's a nice option when my girl friends come over. I think this would look wonderful with brown eyes!
Next up I found Michael Todd True Organics - Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub is a charcoal face wash that exfoliates and smells devine! I haven't had a chance to test this out so I'll let you know when I get a chance to see how it does.
Also included in this month's bag was Pacifica - Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream with shade-matching technology. It applies smoothly, leaves your skin with a dewy finish and kind of smells like sun screen. Not that I really mind that at all!
My second favorite product in this month's bag was Pixi Lash Booster Mascara. I love how it accented my natural lashes and kept them all separated! I can definitely see myself going out and purchasing the full size of this baby when I run out!
OK... time for my favorite product in this month's bag and OMG... I'm so in love! Not only was the sample informational packet designed beautifully but the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in the color Anarchy I received was... just.... WOW! I'm so in love with this pink! Just look at that POP! It's to to to perfect! I know for a fact I'm going to need to get a full size of it... possible two... Hey, you never know when you'll need a back up!
