September Ipsy Bag :: Classic Beauty
Good morning darlings! I was finally able to try out all my products from September's Ipsy bag! This month's theme was Classic Beauty.
First thing I noticed with the bag! (Duh!) This month was a dark blue bag with a black printed design. I'm not sure how to exactly describe the bag but it was cute. It really wasn't one of my favorite bags.
After opening my bag the first thing I spotted were the John Frieda - Full Repair Full Body Shampoo & Conditioner. It smelled amazing during and after my shower and definitely left my hair feeling clean and untangled. But I always use my Pravana Intense Therapy Leave In Treatment after I wash my hair so that probably helped. I'd probably have to use the shampoo & conditioner on a regular basis to see complete results but I am happy with how my hair looked after letting it air dry. I can see myself going out and purchasing the full size of these soon!
Next thing was NYX's eyeshadow in the color Velvet Suede. I like that the eye shadow was pigmented with out applying a base to it. I'm undecided on if its a grey or blue shadow its kind of a mix up of both colors but I liked the subtle smokey effect you can achieve with the shadows.
After that I was the It's So Big volumizing mascara. While when I think of "Classic Beauty" I think thick full lashes to bat you eyes at this mascara didn't give me that feeling. It's a good mascara, I didn't have any clumps and it evenly coated my lashes but I felt this was more a morning "No makeup, makeup" mascara.
Finally the last thing in my goody bag this month was Star Looks Kohl Eye Pencil in the color Obsidian. When it comes to eye liners I can be extremely picky, I want a soft liner with extreme color payoff. I was pleased with the results with Obsidian especially when applying it to my tight line but I felt it was more of a dark grey liner versus a black.
