Good morning darlings! Sorry for missing Film Friday I spent the week at my in-laws lake house for my birthday and they don't have internet plus it looks really awkward dragging lighting and camera equipment with you so I just opted to not do that LOL. I promise a new video will be up this week!
Speaking of birthdays, for this week's manicure I decided to try out one of my new polishes I got from my BFF Jacquelyn Marie! She had been telling me about this line for some time and I was super excited to try them out.
Before I get to in depth on what I thought let me give you some background on the Vinylux line from CND.
"VINYLUX® Weekly Polish is a breakthrough polish that endures a week of fashion perfection...without a base coat! Exposure to natural light activates the patent-pending ProLight Technology™ to deliver week-long wear. While ordinary polishes break down over time, VINYLUX® Weekly Polish actually becomes more durable!"*

Basically this polish is kind of like a no-chip without having to buy yourself a light cause you can use the sun to harden your polish! I got two colors from Jacqui but since this week is going to be the 4th of July I decided to go with the blue one I got which is called Waterpark!
I liked how the formula applied its a lot thinner that no-chip formulas and is extremely pigmented! You don't even really need two coats but it tells you to apply two and I'm a girl of routine so I do two anyway. I will say that I found if you didn't apply your coat fast enough and missed a spot the polish would get a bit goupy but I imagine that is because of the quick dry formulation. To finish the manicure off I sealed my polish in with the CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat which is super thin and clear but I felt a little went a long way if that makes sense? It was easy to apply and within 10 minutes my nails were almost dry to the touch.
I will keep you all posted as the week goes on with the staying power of this polish and all that jazz so be sure to send me a tweet (you can follow me / tweet me @NskiBeauty) to see what I am thinking of the product and how my nails are holding up!
