Review :: BA Star Tropical Eye Shadow Palette & Glitter Glue & Eye Shadow Base + Giveaway

Good morning darlings! Today I'm going to be reviewing the BA Star Tropical eye shadow palette and their Glitter Glue & Eye Shadow Base. Now I have to be honest, (not that I'm not all the time but you know what I mean...) when I received this package in the mail I was NOT impressed. It arrived in a regular 8.5 x 11 paper envelope no bubble wrap or anything. The pink eye shadow had broken during shipment and the brush looked cheap. Kind of reminded me of old school Wet n Wild. However once I got it opened and started testing it out I was gladly proven wrong.

The colors on their own are really pigmented and maintain their brightness but you add the Glitter Glue to the mix and you have some AWESOME results! The colors leap to life and the blendability of these colors are awesome. I had no problem blending without loosing pigmentation and the staying power was awesome when paired with the base.

You wanna hear the best part about these products? Okay maybe not the best (I mean look at those colors!) but it's definitely up there, the price! The Tropical palette will run you $8.75! Yes, you heard that right, all that colorful awesomeness will only cost you $8.75 and the Glitter Glue will run you $8.75 as well. How amazing is that?!

Now I bet you're thinking: "I gotta get my hands on this palette!". Well I have some great news for you darlings! Nski Beauty readers get a 50% discount code! 2. Those are significantly more pigmented then I would have thought (at least just judging by your swatches).. what awesomely bright colors! Think you might do a look with them to inspire the rest of us little people to drop their nude palettes and pick up some brights?

  3. I really love vivid colors and I bet these wear well all day long. I've been looking for BA Star at my local beauty shops, I will have to check Sephora next time I am in.

  4. I am in love with those colors. They are perfect for summer and awesome to know that I can get them at Sephora. What a way to break out of the "neutral" zone and add color.

  6. I would give it to my daughter. Relatively certain that these colors may not be age appropriate.
