Good morning darlings! I'm very jazzed about this week's Mani Monday! After seeing this polish all over Pinterest I just had to pick it up. Once OPI's Ink. Suede arrived and I applied it to my nails it was love all over again! The formula is pretty opaque but you have to be careful with how you apply it because it is a mattifying polish you can end up pulling some of the polish off when applying more.
I opted to go with two coats to make sure my nails were completely covered. It was a bit different not applying a top coat as I'm so use to doing that when I paint my nails but there were some tips OPI included with a little tag attached to the bottle:
- Suede by OPI does not wear as original OPI Nail Lacquer
- Do not use top coat, drying products or hand lotion when wearing Suede.
- Do an all Suede nail. Or do a Suede nail with a matching Gloss top.
I definitely think the next time I use Ink Suede I'll be doing gloss tips or maybe a half moon gloss. I have to play with the matte / gloss combo. I bet it would be stunning!
