Good morning darlings and happy Labor Day! I hope you are relaxing enjoying the breeze on your extra day off. Truth be told when this post goes live I will still more than likely be in La-La-Land snoozing! For this week's manicure I was completely inspired by Christina from Let Them Have Polish. You probably know of her amazing nail art skills and oh so perfect nail shape & cuticles and if you don't you need to seriously check her out! GIRL HAS GOT MAD SKILLS!
Her recent post How I Wore It: Cirque Back to Basics Collection had two nails black with gold flaking and I just knew I had to recreate it! I've had OPI's The Man With The Golden Gun for some time and I can honestly say I've only used the polish a grand total of four times but when you spend $35 on a single bottle of polish you're bound to be a bit conservative LOL
Starting with Revlon Lunar I applied two coats for maximum opacity, followed up with two coats of The Man With The Golden Gun, let the polish sit for a few moments as I had five coats on already (including base). After about ten minutes I went in with my top coat (inm Out The Door) to seal it all in and have been pretty much walking around like a weirdo trying not to bump or smudge the polish cause I know with all the coats its going to take a bit to dry!
