Good morning darlings! It's that time again, Ipsy's month glam bag! This month's theme was "The Art of Beauty". As always there was a mix of products I was happy with and ones I wasn't to thrilled with. Lets dive in!
Nourish Organic's deeply nourishing coconut & argan body lotion was a nice, thick and creamy lotion but unfortunately the scent was WAY to over powering and Mr. Gregory is allergic to coconut so this wasn't the best fit for me.
LA Fresh oil-free face cleanser provided a large sized wipe that didn't leave my skin feeling like it had a film on it but I wasn't a fan of their "refreshing sent". When it comes to face products I'm one for the unscented products because I have such sensitive skin that scents sometimes do irritate my skin.
I didn't get a chance to try out the Big Sexy Hair - Blow Dry Volumizing Gel and I have to admit I am kind of a chicken when it comes to hair products. I always over do it and my hair just ends up looking greasy and dirty... not a sexy look... so I'll have to bother our resident Hair How To girl Jacquelyn Marie and see what she thinks of it when I can!
I had just recently painted my nails when I decided to open & review my Ipsy bag this month so when I opened my bag and saw Zoya's Giovanna I was extremely happy I had a nail wheel to test the color out! I love how shimmer it was and how opaque the color was with just one coat. I was also please with the consistency it wasn't to thick or to runny, it was that "just right" formula.
The last & final product I got in my bag was Buxon's Dolly full-on lip polish. I really liked the color and how it enhanced my natural lip color with a hint of glitter. I however wasn't a fan of the lip plumping factor, I didn't enjoy the minty tingle that clung to my lips long after I removed it.
For this months bag I thought it was super cute but wasn't to impressed with the quote on the bag. I felt a more inspirational or empowering saying could have been used but am extremely happy with the quality of the bag!
