Good morning darlings! Yesterday when I preparing to do my nails for today's post I decided to hit up Pinterst [Are you following me yet?] and saw this manicure with a bow rhinestone and got all types of excited and went out to recreate the look.
I have to admit I'm really enjoying it but I just know I will end up either A) loosing my rhinestone or B) pick off the rhinestone LOL but hey at least I gave it a good old effort! For the polishes I decided to use Essie - Cashmere Bathroom & China Glaze - For Audrey. To get the polka dots I just used one of my dotting tools but if you don't have dotting tools you can use either a tooth pick or pencil!
Very cute! Were those hard to do?
ReplyDeleteNot at all! Super easy, just put a little bit of nail polish (like a blob) and take a tooth pick and just dip it in and dot!
DeleteThe dots are sweet but the rhinestone is my favorite! That reminds me, I need to touch up my nails before heading back to work. Ugh, not ready for summer to end!
ReplyDeleteHow neat! I have always wanted to try polka dots.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combination. I think I would be with you re: the rhinestone. It would probably drive me batty catching on things.
ReplyDeleteThe blue polka dots on black is very refreshing, I would have never thought to try that!
ReplyDeleteLove that color combo. I need to get that for my next pedicure. The polka dots are so cute. My daughter would love to have that.
ReplyDeleteThe polka dots are so cute! The blue polish is gorgeous. I'm definitely with you on the rhinestone - super cute but would drive me nuts!
ReplyDeleteYou are inspiring me to get more creative with my manicure. For too long, I have been a one color gal! I love polka dots - maybe I'll try that today.
ReplyDeleteGo for it! If you do it please share it with me! I'd love to see it! = ]
DeleteThose look perfect, like a professional did them!

Such cute adorable nails - and look like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove this mani! I wish I had the patience to do the dots!
ReplyDeleteMy god this is so adorable! Your dots are so neat, I start out super motivated to get perfect circles and by the time I shmear a good two or three I usually say "screw it" and just stick to a solid color. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteLove the dotticure and accent!
ReplyDeleteVery cute mani! Love the colors and the shine.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE this mani, so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dots! So cute :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love that blue color!
ReplyDeleteFor Audrey is one of my favorite China Glaze's. I've never tried that Essie but I think it's on my list for a winter polish.
